About this service
We use tooth-colored composite resin for fillings. Composite bonds to the tooth, so the preparation can be more conservative than the shape a silver filling requires, and the finished restoration blends with the surrounding enamel. Keeping the tooth clean and dry while the composite is placed is what makes the bond hold, so careful isolation is part of the technique.
