A crown is a custom-shaped ceramic cap that fully covers a tooth weakened by decay, fracture, root canal therapy, or large old fillings. A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring a porcelain pontic to crowns on the adjacent teeth. Both are made by a dental laboratory in high-strength ceramic so the result blends with your natural smile and stands up to daily function.

After the tooth is prepared, we take a detailed impression with polyvinyl siloxane (PVS), a highly accurate impression material that captures the fine edges your crown or bridge has to fit against.
